JMC Corporate Social Responsibility

Our belief in corporate social responsibility (CSR) is rooted in the understanding that businesses are not just profit-driven entities but are also integral parts of the communities they serve. We believe companies have an ethical obligation to contribute positively to society. CSR goes beyond mere compliance and philanthropy, extending into the core operations of Jersey Mechanical Contractors. By aligning corporate goals with societal well-being, we can foster benefits for both JMC and the world around us.  The organizations that we partner with are listed and linked below.

Since 9/11, we have been helping America’s heroes by providing mortgage-free homes to Gold Star and fallen first responder families with young children and by building specially-adapted smart homes for catastrophically injured veterans and first responders. We are also committed to eradicating veteran homelessness and helping America to Never Forget September 11, 2001.

Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) began in 2003 as a small, grassroots effort providing simple care and comfort items to the hospital bedsides of the first wounded service members returning home from the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. As their post-service needs evolved, so have our programs and services. Today, through our direct programs in mental healthcareer counseling, and long-term rehabilitative care, along with our advocacy efforts, we improve the lives of millions of warriors and their families.

A wish experience can be a game-changer for a child with a critical illness.

This one belief guides us in everything we do at Make-A-Wish. It inspires us to grant life-changing wishes for children going through so much. It compels us to be creative in exceeding the expectations of every wish kid. It drives us to make our donated resources go as far as possible. Most of all, it's the founding principle of our vision to grant the wish of every eligible child.

Our program provides a noonday meal for approximately 3,500 senior citizens annually; a total of 350,000 meals per year. The meals are nutritionally balanced, planned by a on-staff registered dietitian. We also offer a limited weekend and holiday meal program for homebound seniors who have no one else to care for them. The program is available for those over age 60 and a limited number of disabled persons under the age of 60.
